When you are job hunting we all make mistakes, these are some that I believe we make:

Mistake #1: Most people rely on old methods of job hunting. They don’t realize that traditional job hunting methods don’t work very well anymore.

Mistake #2: Most people have no strategy for selling their most important asset—their transferable skills.

Mistake #3: Most people never uncover the full range of their industry options... situations that can
offer them equal or greater potential.

Mistake #4: Most people never develop a strategy for overcoming their liabilities.

Now I just gave the mistakes, next I will give you the solutions.

Mistake #5: Most people think they have a good resume…,when in reality it is very average.

Mistake #6: Most people simply don’t gain access to enough of the right openings.

Mistake #7: Most people never gain access to leads to emerging jobs before they go public.

Mistake #8: Most people never get their credentials in front of enough decision makers.

Mistake #9: Most people never really develop superior interviewing skills. Doing this is your key to converting a high percentage of your interviews into offers.

Mistake #10: Most people never take the time to learn how to negotiate for themselves.
